Restaurant-style Veg Manchurian recipe at home:

Ingredients: Ingredients (4 serving):
1 To prepare the Balls you will need:
  • 1/2 cup chopped cabbage & onion
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot, green beans & cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 3 teaspoons finely chopped green chili
  • 1/2 cup grated capsicum (green pepper and red bell pepper)
  • 1/3 cup and 2 teaspoons simple flour
  • 4 tablespoon corn starch
  • salt and water As required
  • oil for deep fry
2 To prepare the Gravy you will need:
  • 1/2 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 3 teaspoon capsicum and spring onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/3 cup and 2 teaspoon coriander leaves
  • 2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon red chili sauce

 Directions ( how to make Manchurian) : 












For the veg Manchurian Balls:

  • Take a bowl and mix chopped cabbage, onion, carrot, green beans, and finely chopped ingredients green chili and garlic( make sure garlic are no big pieces as they might be bitter to bite on).
  • Then add grated carrot, cauliflower, and capsicum and add salt according to taste. Now add cornflour and plain flour (it will give crispiness to the veg Manchurian). Add some water and start mixing all the ingredients properly with your hands
  • Make small balls of the mixture (like koftas). Deep fry the balls till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and keep it aside.









For the veg Manchurian gravy:


  • Take a separate pan and heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and Saute chopped garlic, ginger paste, capsicum, and spring onion
  • Cook for a min and then add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, white vinegar, red chili sauce, and water with 1/2 tablespoon corn starch and stir well cook for another mint . Add the deep-fried balls to the gravy
  • Cook the delicious veg Manchurian or 2 to 4 mint in low flame and serve hot garnish with spring onion and coriander.

Other tips:

  • While rolling balls wet your hand so the mixture will not stick to your hand.
  • Fry Manchurian balls on medium flame.
  • For crispier Manchurian balls fried fry it the second time on high flame.
  • Few hours before frying refrigerate the Manchurian balls.
